In the Detail

We thought you might be interested to know a little about our new website and what we are planning for the future so we sat down with our founder Zara Juricic and asked her a few questions. This is what she had to say……

You’ve got a new website.

Yes, we are very excited to launch it! The new website showcases our cashmere in a pared back but very stylish way; exactly right for Crumpet. We have looked at every aspect and are confident that it will provide a seamless pathway for our customers to purchase our products. At the same time we think the results of our new photography are not only mouthwateringly gorgeous, but give our customer some excellent cues on how to wear our products.

In terms of product, you seem to have a mix of old favourites and some new styles, is this what you are going to be doing in the future?

Yes. We are often asked by our customers for Crumpet ‘classics’, like our cashmere biker jacket ; some of these will be returning and some will be refined for the new season. At the same time, we will be moving ahead with new styles and developments. I’m passionate about the product and very excited to be introducing these pieces to our online collection. Keep an eye out for our stand out one off pieces where we’ll be revisiting favourite prints, adding embroidery and other luxury fabrics – to be featured on the website soon.

What can we expect to see on the site moving forward?

As well as featuring our stunning products, I’d like our customers to know more about how we source our cashmere and our production process. This is really important to us at Crumpet. Nepal and my love for cashmere are intertwined and at the core of Crumpet. What I want to do is show the marriage of east and west and how pieces with intricate craftsmanship can be worn in a contemporary and stylish way. I also want to show our designs worn on women of all ages as I believe Crumpet is a brand that is not age specific and that is something we should really shout about.
